Dr. Maurice Krauth is currently an Advisor for Digital Traffic Management in the Digital Mobility Division at the Ministry for Transport and Mobility Transition in Hamburg, Germany. He is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of data-driven and AI-supported solutions for urban mobility.

Before joining the Ministry, Maurice completed his PhD at TU Dresden (Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences), specializing in Operations Research with a focus on mathematical optimization in transport networks. From 2020 to 2024, he also worked as a research associate at TU Dresden in the field of transport engineering.

Maurice holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, including a semester abroad at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain.
