R3R1 Emerging Technologies for Transportation System Management and Operations
This report evaluates emerging technologies transforming transportation management across urban and rural contexts. Principal innovations include AI-driven traffic forecasting, connected-vehicle ecosystems, IoT sensor networks, and advanced data-analytics platforms. Collectively, these technologies enable reduced congestion, improved safety, better environmental outcomes, and more efficient resource allocation for transportation agencies.
R3:R2 1000 City Analysis
This report explores the critical infrastructure parameters across the world’s 1000 largest urban centers. It was prepared as part of the development project for Wiligence, to collect data for ML and city modeling. It also represents a unique examination of transportation networks, vehicle usage, smart facility distribution, operational costs, and environmental impacts that shape modern cities. The analysis provides valuable insights for urban planners, policymakers, and technology providers focused on creating more efficient, sustainable, and livable urban environments.
